Film review: The perks of being a wallflower

Film review- David Moreno
"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" is based on a novel of Stephen Chbosky who is the director. The mair characters are Charlie (Logan Lerman), Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller).
The film explains the life of Charlie, an estudent whit sociable problems. He didn't have friends until he met Sam and Patrick, two brothers of last year of high school of which he becomes inseparable and will live great moments and unique experiences that he tells us during the movie. He also meet his first love.
This movie has positive things that I like to explain. It explains how Charlie, a person with trauma since childhood, manages to overcome to an extent and due that he has to enter to hospital, also to see the simple fact of  not having friends and this leads to bullying.
Also has a negatives things. There are many unnecessary scenes and that makes a long and heavy film. I think it brings nothing to the movie.
It is a very nice film and I recommend to see it.

"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" is based on a novel of Stephen Chbosky and the film is directed by Stephen Chbosky, the same person. The main characters are played by Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller. The premiere in Spain was February 1, 2013. The main genre are the drama and love story.
Charlie has trouble socializing but one day he meets Sam and his stepbrother Patrick two people who become friends with, and he walks into their group of friends. There Charlie makes new friendships, has his first love, discovers the music and tests the drugs. But when all his friends go to university, he begins to remember the suicide of his best friend and the death of his aunt who believes it was his fault, that makes him almost commit suicide. They take him to a hospital where it is discovered that his aunt (a fundamental pillar in his life) abused sexually of him. He returns to his home and is visited by Sam and Patrick.
This movie has enough positive things, it explains how a person with trauma since childhood manages to overcome to an extent and due that he has to enter to hospital, also to see the simple fact of being shy and not having friends and this leads to bullying. Another thing is that you see how the main character makes an evolution throughout the movie and what a teenager feels (love, drugs, rejection of friends ...). Besides that, in the end there is an idea that changes everything and although it is not a positive change (that his aunt abused him) I think that makes the idea of everything and that you can understand many things.
Also has a lot of negatives things, are many unnecessary scenes and things from the movie, and that makes a long and heavy movie, for example when Charlie is with Mary Elizabeth, I think it brings nothing to the movie.
It is a very good movie with which you can learn a lot, besides that there is very good cast, and the truth that I recommend a lot as much of the things that happen in the movie happen in real life and can help people have open their eyes and see the reality.

"The perks to being a wallflower" is an American movie based on a book by Stephen Chbosky with the same name. Is a drama film starring by is Logan Lerman (Charlie), Emma Watson (Sam) and Ezra Miller (Patrick).
The movie explains the story of Charlie, who writes to an unnamed friend and explains his experiences at the high school. Charlie is an introvert boy, that's why it's difficult to make friends for he, even so he make a good friends older than he, with them Charlie will live great moments and unique experiences that he tells us during the movie.
It's a movie that I enjoy a lot always that I see it, I like the story itself and the way to explain this story. I love the three main characters, I think that these characters are very well created and represented.
The only thing that I don’t like so much is the way to represent flashbacks, I think that could explain more clearly the past of Charlie.
I recommend this movie a lot, but if you like the drama stories.

The perfks of being a wallflower is a drama film based on a book by Stephen Chbosky. The main character is a shy teenage boy called Charlie. He meets Sam and Patrick and they become great intimate friends. So much that Charlie falls deeply in love with Sam. His childhood was hard and he goes through flashbacks of his aunt Helen during the whole film. We later discover that she sexually abused him. The film doesn't have a lot of action scenes and I personally don't like that, but the actors transmitted their character's feelings very well and the story was really interesting. In my opinion it is a good movie with a lot of interesting life lessons and a good plot twist. I would definitely recommend it if you like romance, some intrigue and overall drama movies.
